Benenden School

Founded in 1923 and situated in 240 acres of attractive parkland in Kent, Benenden School has been one of the leading boarding schools in Britain for the last 90 years. There are currently 551 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 180 of those in the Sixth Form.

Benenden prides itself on its passion for education in its broadest sense so that every girl who studies and lives there receives a Complete Education and enjoys her school days. Whilst instilling within the girls the values to which the school holds firm of confidence, compassion, and courage, Benenden prepare them to be professional young women in whatever field of work they choose to pursue in later life.

Benenden has been a key, independent school support of the UAP since its inception, and has further increased its support in recent years. The school provides teachers for the residential programmes, many of whom volunteer for free, while they are also an active member of the Kent Academies Network Management Group. Going forward, we anticipate that Benenden will host a residential in the next couple of years.
