Class of 2017 – Graduation Day!
Sunday was a special day for the KAN APP as the first cohort of students enjoyed their graduation ceremony, officially marking their successful completion of the scheme
Students, parents, teachers and mentors of the 2013 (and original) cohort descended on a sunny Tonbridge School to celebrate their achievements, and to look forward with anticipation at the exciting next steps on the journey that are now to come!
Co-founders Ceri Jones and Debbie Hannam both spoke glowingly about the cohort, and provided them with wise words as they move forward. Each mentor, Rosalie, Gavin and Carl, made a presentation about their cohort, and reflected on the memories that have been made and experiences that have been shared over the last four years.
That the event took place at Tonbridge provided a neat symmetry for the cohort, given that is where it all began 4 summers ago. With over 40 speakers including the very first talk from Hilary Carty, as well as names such as Adam Boulton, Amber Rudd and Sir Damon Buffini, 8 residential courses in 4 different locations and 8 day meet-ups, we hope it has been an invaluable experience and one our students will never forget – we will certainly never forget them as our very first cohort!
