First University Offer for APP in Kent
A student on the APP in Kent received a University offer for the first time last week, a momentous development for the Accelerate and Access Foundation.
The APP in Kent was established in 2013 and has now grown to full capacity, with four cohorts (year 10-13 inclusive) on the programme this year for the first time. The 2013 cohort were the first students inducted on the programme and have successfully blazed a trail for the APP, their schools and the charity, as well as most importantly themselves, in the years since. It is fantastic from the point of view of the AAF to see their hard work, determination and high aspirations start to bear fruit.
The 2013 cohort have achieved a number of firsts for the programme over the last few years – this is the most exciting one yet! Good luck to all our other students with their applications, and we look forward to reporting more good news over the coming months.
